Information this site collects
This site does not currently offer accounts, comments, or contact forms. It does offer an optional email subscription form, described below. ChatGPT Sites automatically records traffic and provides Jonathan Davenport with aggregate analytics, including unique-visitor and page-view counts and trends over time. The site has not added a separate third-party analytics service, advertising trackers, or behavioral profiling. Archive searches and filters run in your browser and are not sent to or stored by Jonathan Davenport.
Hosting information
The site is hosted using ChatGPT Sites by OpenAI. OpenAI and its service providers may process standard technical information needed to deliver, secure, maintain, and measure use of the site, such as IP address, browser or device information, request logs, security data, page views, and unique visits. Their handling of that information is described in the OpenAI Privacy Policy.
If you subscribe by email, your address is submitted to Buttondown, which manages confirmations, delivery, and unsubscribes for the mAx & Iggy newsletter. Jonathan Davenport can access the subscriber list to send occasional strip announcements. You can unsubscribe using the link in any newsletter email. Buttondown's handling of subscriber information is described in its privacy policy.
If you email aclockworklife@gmail.com, Jonathan Davenport will receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include. That information is used to respond to you and administer your request, and may be retained as needed for those purposes.
RSS feed
The public RSS feed does not require an account or email address, and this site does not receive a list of people who follow it. Requests for the feed may appear in the same hosting logs and aggregate traffic measurements as other visits to the site. If you use a third-party RSS reader, that service's own privacy practices apply.
Promotional banners and links
This site may display first-party promotional banners for other websites or projects owned or operated by Jonathan Davenport. These banners are ordinary links. This site does not currently use third-party ad networks or cross-site behavioral advertising. If you follow a banner or another external link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies.
